Yes all 3 vehicles are able to combat armor on their own. The Bradley may require you to attend the TOW tutorials but that is nothing you can´t handle and I love the B´s autocannon.

I don´t think you can do wrong with the M1, Leo2, or the Bradley as most of them come with alot of tutorials and youtube coverage and they also have have a high degree of detail in game. I recommend to indeed start with one of your mentioned modern tanks because they come with convenient features like a easy-to-use Laser Range Finder, good sights, day/night thermals, and the cannon automatically adjusts to different ammunition. If possible put some important buttons onto your free mouse or kb keys like switching between thermals and main gunner scope, the zoom key (N), and your own preferences (suggestions: ammo change, switching gunner/tc etc.). I stayed with the default keys and get used to them even when they can be challenging especially on my contracted notebook keyboard. Some of the key binds aren´t really convenient but you can edit them all and perhaps there are already some sets to download online. I think they all have hunter-killer capability, right? - Well like mentioned you two make sure to print out the hotkeys picture in the installation folder and keep it beside your table when starting.
